    For Sacramento and surrounding! where is there blm land?

    I know alot of people who are looking but cant figure out the maps or geolocation something. when one dosent want to brave spenceville
    where can one go?

    iv heard of the quarry near auburn or salmon falls but if i want to use tannerite?

    not sure where exactly you are located but you can head out of georgetown. either down church street or wentworthsprings about 6 miles. there is alot of land owned by Sierra Pacific Industries that allows shooting. As long as you are not shooting at the trees of course.

      I think the Quarry your talking about is candy rock quarry. Its only open certain times/days/months. Google it for current details. The road opened back up 5/15.

          Tannerite is illegal in CA, even on federal lands. If you want to shoot it keep heading east on I-80 until you get into NV where it is legal.

          If all you want to do is find some land where you can shoot (but not Tannerite) then Tahoe and El Dorado national forests are nearby. Shooting is legal in most areas of the forests, see this thread for more info on where it isn't: Firearms in Forests and Parks
