    apocalypse

I know this has been posted a million times before but this is directed to those who have faith. When the true apocalypse happens there is only one thing you need
...The Bible ..but I'm more worried about natural disasters like earthquakes, floods or zombies. So what do I need to Bug In?

All equally important, so if you have to spread out your purchases, do each a little at a time until you have enough to last 30 days, then go for 60 days, etc.

    1. A wrench to turn off the gas meter (earthquake)
    2. Water - enough for a gallon per day per person
    3. Food - frozen, canned, dry goods (flour, sugar, rice, pasta)
    4. Batteries and flashlights
    5. Books, cards and other things to pass the time
    6. Portable radio
    7. Generator and fuel
    8. Cooking source and fuel (BBQ?)
    9. Blankets, clean clothes, towels, etc.
    10. Weapons and ammo.
    11. Medications, first aid
    12. Hygeine supplies (soap, TP, nuckets, etc.)
    13. Tools
    14. Coffee, gum, candy to your liking.
    15. High energy snacks (trail mix, bars, etc.)
    16. Liquor
    17. Ice
    18. Anything else you use on a regular basis.

Bringing religion into any objective rational discussion is just going to push it way off into the weeds. Try reading Thomas Paine's "The Age of Reason" for some serious insight into why and how people bastardized what the Bible could have been. Now, back to survivalist topics, please.

Faith is belief in the absence of reason. The original question is confusing. Maybe irrational is part of the question and it should be reworded into something like this: "Is there some faith based belief or item that, if the believer doesn't believe he is in possession of during a natural disaster, will create a disadvantage for him?" I don't know, that's my best guess at the meaning.

The bible mentions to be prepared.
California's politicians and unionized government employees are a crime gang that makes the Mexican drug cartels look like a Girl Scout Troop in comparison.

freedom of religion is something we all enojoy one can choose to read the bible or not. it is unwise to force religion to those that may not believe in your faith of your choice.

Thank your neighbor and fellow gun owners for passing Prop 63. For that gun control is a winning legislative agenda.

                  +1... Good list.

Don't forget things like oil lamps for alternate light and heat sources once your batteries are all used up. you can get pretty nice ones for about $10 plus the fuel.
