After reading One Second After I had to wonder how much better off they'd been if they, as a small town, prepared. I'm from a small city of 15,000/20,000 in CA and would love to see them take some steps to be prepared.

Wyoming is probably one of the most free states in America. They are fiercely independent. These lawmakers are as close to ordinary people as you could hope for. Heck, they sound like preppers! If I lived in that state, I would trust those lawmakers. Wyoming is high on my list of states I'd like to move to. I think their statement that SHTF is a slim possibility is just them being politically correct. They see the signs coming and they are preparing for it.

I would agree with you. They are in my top 3 on my list. Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. I also agree that they see the signs and are preparing for it.
