My daughter (10) asked me about the end of the world. She said some friends at school told her about how these olden people said the world was going to end in 2012. Being the loving father that I am I asked her what she was worried about, so I could ease her mind.

There are too many fanatics, lunatics, psychos, religious freaks, and other crazies out there who thinks that the world will end on that date.

This is pretty much it for me. I don't think well fall asleep on the 20 and not wake up on the 21st. But maybe there will be natural disasters, war, virus ect that could possibly happen. All we can really do is wait and see hahaha.

And hopefully it'll be one of those beautiful december nights when it's Lago Pacifico and the squid boats are running and foolish lobsters are out everywhere.

As for myself, Dec 21 is awfully close to Dec 25, which means I'll be dragged in ball and chains around to the shopping malls buying overpriced crap for rugrats that will break it all within 72 hours...hell, I'll be wishing the world would end, or that at least a small bolide will shatter when it hits the upper atmosphere and each of the resulting fragments will hit each and every shopping mall and outlet store in a 60 mile radius.
