Dutch Oven Blueberry Pie (this could be done over a campfire too)

I decided to make some pie in my dutch oven. I wanted to see how the crust would come out. My next pie will be a chicken pot pie in the dutch oven.

    Here is the recipe

One set of two crusts from the store
    5 cups frozen blueberries
1 lemon (1/2 squeezed into blueberries)
    1 cup sugar
    Sprinkle of cinnamon
    2 large tablespoons pectin
    2 tablespoons corn starch
    1 egg
    1 tbl milk

Place dutch oven in oven and heat to 450f
Place bottom pie shell in toaster oven or regular oven to brown the shell
Mix all ingredients in plastic bowl
Heat ingredients in microwave to 140f (make sure blueberries are all thawed)
Pour mix into browned bottom shell
Place top crust on top and pinch sides
Cut 4 slits in top crust
Mix 1 egg with 1 tbl milk and paint top crust with it
Bake at 425-450f with top on for half and top off for half (about 45 min total)

You have to watch the internal temp, crust browning etc closely. I baked to an internal temp of 210f or bubbling blueberries

My wife loves my cooking and the trade off is she doesn't mind doing the dishes, which I hate to do. So we are a great team in the kitchen.
