    Check out this deal. Only good for about three more hours but Stove in a Can on sale for $17 (retails for $34.99) at www.save more.com with a new account sign up you get a $10 credit so you can get it for $7. Anyone tried one of these?

      I'm partial to the sierra zip stove or the wood gas stoves that you can buy or make out of coffee cans. they burn anything flammable like wood and paper which should be plentiful in times of emergency.

      the other choice for compact emergency stove could be a liquid fuel stove like a Primus or Optimus Omnifuel stove which can burn just about any petroleum product.
