    WTBorrow Mylar Sealer? Bay Area

Thought I might as well ask if any kind hearted soul might have a Mylar sealer, or be up for a bit of a sealing party....located Mid-Penninsula, Bay Area..... planning on using my Iron otherwise....Thanks

A hair straightener type flat iron works very well.

I posted a link to a 20 dollar 12" sealer a while ago. It works great and I have sealed at least 1200 bags so far.

Thanks gang, and Problemchild, I'm glad to have searched your previous posts lots of good info. It looks like the 20 buck sealer is up to 50 bucks, probably still worth it but I'll prob use the iron. I'm bagging up some one gallon bags of beans, rice, powdered eggs, milk, etc. My plan is to have mixed buckets so I have quantity for staying put, and also smaller quantity bags in a mixed bucket for bugging out, or hard times food...

Works great if you have access to one.

I have a 12" impulse sealer and ended up using an iron. The iron works better
just make sure to suck out as much air as you can before you seal it. O2 absorbers still need most of the O2 sucked out before you seal...as I learned.
