Katadyn or First Need Water Filter

I wanted to see what the preference and experience others have had with using either the Katadyn Hiker Pro or the First Need Water Filter. I need to replace my current Katadyn and have considered the First Need product but it's just a little more.

My use would be for hiking, camping and general use.

I purchased a Katadyn hiker filter to replace the case or more of bottled water carried on camping/wheeling trips. I have carried it for a few years now and I love it. I just recently added the Katadyn gravity feed "base camp" filter system to my camping/survival gear.

I only carry the filters and a couple Nalgene bottles now

The best filtration in the busisness, AND can be used additionally as an inline filter and as a gravity feed filter. I love mine!
That being said...the Katadyn is a very nice filter too. I actually was able to use my Katadyn, while on vacation on Mt. Katadyn! (just my goofy fact)
