Coins are good too, but can get heavy depending on how much you have. Also I wouldn't carry any expensive coins such as 1oz gold, because more than likely you will be buying something worth 100 or less and there is no real way to split up a coin worth 1800 bucks into smaller ammounts.

It's all a matter of what you want to buy. In a post SHTF situation some commodities will sky rocket in price, like ammo fergzample. $1800 may not buy a lot of ammo under those circumstances.

definetly have smaller bills for cash on hand - people will not be "able" to make change and you will spend a $20 bill for a $5 item.

Just buy four of the $5 item and then sell the three extras for $6 ea.!

The "day of rage" ended up being a few hundred anti capitalist......is anti climatic....I'm not worried about the UN giving "Palestine" a seat at their table. I worry about them adopting a new currency and urging all nations to participate in making it their new reserve currency displacing a dollar that is backed by nothing.

And the UN's new currency will be back by WHAT?
