Are you asking about the landcruiser or the bbq?

Sorry, I see you are talking about the BBQ.

How you ruined the old one would have an impact on a recommendation for a new one.

I have both the briefcase and fold flat BBQs - they aren't the most heavy duty BBQs, but they both work good and have lasted me 2 years so far and still work like new ( did fab a better grate for the fold flat BBQ rather than use the folding grate that came with it).

I use the fold flat just for hotdogs or hamburgers and use the briefcase BBQ for larger meals like steaks, shish kebabs, chicken and Tri Tip. Neither of them comes with a lid but I use an aluminum foil pan as a lid when I cook chicken or Tri Tip.

While not as compact I still like the mini Weber BBQ's. The older ones especially seem to hold up well and can always be found at yard sales.

Weber has a couple of options. I've gotten good use out of a Smokey Joe.

weber kettle type. We have been using it elk hunting for last 9 years works great at altitude because you can control fuel/air mixture. Also we use an old agitator tub for fireplace and we use grill from weber on top for open grilling and have made a frame with 12 volt rotisserie for roasts and chicken and to hang dutch oven from.

Aussie grill. 50 bucks at home depot. Folds sort of flat and has wheels. Only gripe is the grill surface has too much space between each rail - its a square pattern.

I bought a Cobb Premier but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. They're famous for requiring 4-8 coals to cook a meal.

Check out the Son of Hibachi, awesome little bbq. I don't have the snuff pouch though ...yet.

Shop garage sales and pick up a used one real cheap---if it looks decently constructed, it will work.
