Review $35 dollar 5mm impulse sealer for e-food storage

I drove down to LA today to check out the $35(on sale normally $72) dollar Chinese impulse sealer. It looked OK so I bought 2 of them. Once I got home I adjusted the temp/time and tested it out. Im using 8x12 5 mil mylar bags to seal our food. The sealer works just fine and is light years ahead of an iron. I had to return the uber-nice sealer I borrowed from my LDS buddy.

Anyway just a heads up on this decent sealer. It lays a nice wide 5mm seal down and comes with 2 extra burners and 2 extra teflon tape seals.

Was there any grief about getting the 5mm seal strip? The website has only the 2mm strip on the options but the description says 5mm.

No they come in the box for free. Its yours if you want it.
