    Possum recipe

When I lived "in town" I used to see possums all the time.
Now that I live "in the country" I never seem 'em. I guess there's not enough dumpsters around here to support them..

Anyway, I was digging through some old cookbooks and found this gem.

    Enjoy!

It reminds me of my father's recipe for carp:
After cleaning the carp, take a pine board, layer it with lemon, onions, garlic cloves and thyme. Place carp on top and wrap with foil. Bake in over at 350 for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and eat the board, because it will taste better than the carp.

I have an old cookbook, with recipes for wild game. One that had me wondering was the recipe for "Sweet & Sour Moose Balls".

        Yum

Granny had an awesome Possum pie recipe. Jethro and Ellie-May would always fight over who got the biggest piece....

That's how I would eat a Dominoe's pizza. Eat the cardboard box and then feed the pizza to the possum.
