The description seems pretty good. The "girly" aspect of the cover might be a good bridge to get ladies a little more into the prep thing.

How do you protect a zip drive or USB drive from an EMP? I'd rather carry one of those then a book...

Faraday cage. It also protects all my ham gear and could do the same with a Kindle and solar charger. I have quite a few printed books for resources and the others are digitally stored.

I thought this was an intresting read, from a guy that survived Katrina. He made some good comments about how to back up data and important information in your life in case you had to start over with just what you went out the door with, or with copies you kept in other locations.
