Looks like I got here late and missed all the excitement... but the question remains- what the heck to you need a watch for in a post apocalyptic wasteland? "Damnit... I'm late for my appointment?"

PC, exactly why I gave up on watches 30 years ago. Besides, if I really, really need to know the precise time I can ask 97% of everyone around me who DOES have a watch.

Anyway sorry we got off on the wrong foot. I will send you a tritium watch to try for a week if you havent had the chance to try one. I have a Luminox titanium (broken ratchet ring on bezel) that I can loan out. I guess I am extremely hard on watches. This is the 4th watch I have broken

I was interested but the price was a little too much. This did get me to review these types of watches and reconsider my budget going forward.
