When the unwashed masses flood into the country after SHTF they'll wipe out all wild game in a short period of time. There'll be no mammals, no birds, no fish, no reptiles and the insect population will take a major hit!! If the situation is bad enough we'll all resort to cannibalsim. If its just a 60 or 90 day thing then maybe it'll just cost us our wildlife and maybe the masses will migrate back to the cities. Hard to tell.

You guys obviously dont hunt. Animals sence changes and leave the scene. The day before deer season there are deer everywhere. Dear season opens the next day and the deer are nowhere to be found... They know that the hunt is on and head for the hills. Same with Antelope and turkey. Ive taken lots of people hunting and 99.9% couldnt take a deer down without help. Guys come out with the latest in weapons and uber cool camo and are totally lost.... Then if they do make a kill they have absolutly no Idea what to do with the animal... I cant tell you how many people left their breakfast all over the ground the moment I started slaughtering the animal for them..

Kid S might be referring to the hills east of him and that is only about 30 minutes or so from where my brother in law resides. In reading the latest rawles book this is highly likely the area to be flooded by central and bay area Ca residents. Hunting there will be nearly impossible in no time.

Further east and north though I think he might be under estimating critter populations. Most of the people won't survive the sierras let alone cross it.
