    San Mateo County Hike

I went on a hike yesterday at the El Corte De Madera Open Space.

I made about 4.5 mile loop to the crash site of a DC-6 airplane. The plane Resolution crash on October 29, 1953, killing all 19 people on board.

Parts of the plane wreck are still visible. I have seen pictures of the wing and a few other larger sections of aircraft but the terrain off the trail was very steep and overgrown. So I didn't explore too much.
