Now that I am finishing up my LMT I am now moving on to my SHTF gear set up. I am going to run a light MOLLE chest panel like this one
Along with a small backpack such as an eagle yote or something similar(still taking opinions)
Everyone talks about firearms for when S finally HTF and it is a legitamte reason as it is one of mine as well. My question is how many magazines you will carry on your rig. Two approaches are to carry heavy and hunker down or stay light and mobile, what are yours? What kind of equipment will you carry on you for your firearm. Im thinking about enough to walk from work/school back to home where you can baracade your self in or whatever.
IMO realistically I feel that either 4-5 on you plus one in the mag will be adequate to protect your selves... This is all of course depending on the amount of S that HTF. If were talking about nuclear holocaust then we will obviously carry more ammunition etc. Im talking about like natural disaster, riot etc..
