Packing your own food in Mylar. Recipes and how to...

I recently picked up 50pcs. 10"X14" 4 Mil Mylar bags with O2 absorbers. Looking at packing up a bunch of dry food for long term storage for emergency use. I have a good idea of what to pack up into the Mylar. Share with me some of your ideas that go beyond the basic single item bags. (ie., rice, flour, beans, rice and wheat)

I was planning on making it interesting by mixing stuff together making my own Mountain House type meal. I was thinking of mixing together some minute oatmeal, sugar, salt and cinnamon and packing them into the mylar. Or how about, mac, powdered cheese, powdered margarine with a pinch of salt and then packing it into mylar bags.

After packing the food into mylar bags, and adding the O2 absorber and purging out as much air as possible before sealing, I figure the food has a shelf out to 20+ years, under ideal conditions.

Share some mylar bag food recipes with me folks...
