    Ok, I finally got my vac-sealer. I settled for this one:





    I got a coupon for $30 off of the "wholesale" price for these at Costco ($159 + tax), so I paid $133 total for this system. I think I got a stellar deal, so big +1 to all those that recommended Foodsaver

      That's the exact same model I have. It's a permanent fixture on my kitchen counter tops. I use it so often I never put it away. You will be very happy with the purchase.

      One cool trick, if you are vacuum sealing something moist, use the "Pulse" function or else the moisture will keep the bag from heat sealing during the vacuum. You can use pulse and see the moisture coming up to where the bag seals, just before the moisture reaches that point, hit the seal button.
