Any recommendations on where to get some sturdy wool pants for hiking? I'm trying to stay away from cotton, but anything I find is either cotton or $$$.

I have to say that since I have moved to a much colder state over a year ago (Northern Kentucky), I would say Carhartt clothing products are the norm. Carhartt manufactured premium work clothing known for exceptional durability, comfort and quality of construction. They carry multiple use clothing. Additionally purchasing wool accessory clothing is a must because when the SHTF who is going to make man made synthetic product. Back to the good old days!!!
