Nothing I would care to share. I would be interested to see what kind of slant is put on it.

I say lets use this opportunity to educate the ignorant and Nieve' as to what being prepared is. Let get a well spoken, educated CGN'er on there to talk about the fact that he has enough food for his family and a couple neighbors, enough medical supplies for his whole street, plus tarps(shelter), gloves, dust masks and water/filtration. A well prepared family can bless a whole neighborhood, and provide a secure feeling, warm food, shelter and ALSO be a resource for incoming emergency responders, ie " I know that everybody on my street is alive and safe except for xyz, and we need food and water for 15 people for 3 days and we will be fine. You can go to the next street and see if anyone over there need help"

This is a great idea. i recommend you San Diego dudes actively look for a good spokesman!!!!

          Zeke,
You make a good point. I may reconsider. Thanks

Also, this author is a friend of the one that did my article in the Reader. If he is anything like her, it will be a great article.

I will say at least the SD Reader in general has a higher educated staff over the SD Union Trib...

However, anonymous only goes so far. Just about as far as a court order facing the writer. Not that the scenario might happen, just saying.

Now where's my new hat again???

                    SD reader

FWIW... I read the "They Carry Guns" or whatever it was (online) in the Reader. I thought it was very, very well done, and showed little if any of the anti-2A/uber-liberal bias one might expect (and one often finds) in that sort of rag.
Being prepared is not only for the foil-hat folks!
I love the smell of Cosmoline in the morning... It smells like... History!

That is why I was asked to help the writer. They believe there is a lot of crossover in the OC movement and the "preppers."

Even people here will label you a "nutjob" "aluminum hat wearing" idiot. Plenty of threads have been deleted here in the last few days over this. People see what they want to see even if the truth smacks them in the face.
