Where can I try on Danner boots in the bay area?

    Hey Calguns,

I'm trying to find a place in the bay area for Danner boots. I want to buy them, but not without trying them on. Does anyone have an idea as to who stocks the Arcadia models? The specific model is below...

Danner boots are a mark of superior craftsmanship, Our hiking, hunting, work, military, and law enforcement boots are built with GORE-TEX waterproof liners, durable Vibram outsoles, and full-grain leather.

If Livermore is not too out of your way, give Doms a call, they are a stocking dealer. 925-454-9894

Thank you both... I'll head over there this weekend. With your experiences, how do these boots fit? I've read they fit true, too small, and too big for various people. Usually they tend to have a general fit, but these dont... =)

Doms for sure. I bought Danners years ago there for wildland firefighting. They did the trick but didn't last as long as other brands eventually did.

Wow, I've been hearing nothing but praises for Danners in terms of wear and tear.... Is there another brand boot I should be looking at? My main concern is comfort, but right next to it is the longevity of the boot. I was going to buy Oakleys on a whim, but two friends of mine I was with told me their horror stories.

I love my Danners. Most comfortable boot I have owned (not that I have owned a ton). Everyone who I have talked to says "I still have my first pair of Danners"

I have a pair of the Sharptails and Pronghorns. I bought my regular size and was amazed at how quickly the broke in.
