    Wieght of food and supplies

Went to costco today and bought some grains, baking soda and other supplies to stash away for a bug in. I also have another place to drop back to if things get too rough. One thing that came to mind in storing this is just the shear wieght of all of these products. Something to consider if you have to scoot out of town as a vehicle would get quickly loaded down.
This has brought to light a few considerations and I will stage some of the heavier grains and supplies at my other spot. This way I can concentrate on some of the other needed supplies. Just a thought to consider when compiling your supplies look at the total wieght and how you have it packaged.

One thing to remember is a mouse, rat and bug can smell grain from 10,000 miles away.

Speaking of, does anyone have any feedback on how those ultrasonic pest repellers work? I was thinking of grabbing a couple of these to keep the rats at bay, if it works that is...

I've been using the wall-socket repellers in my house. They work pretty well at keeping spiders out, not 100% but I'm certain much better than nothing at all. I've also tried the solar mole-chasers out in the yard. So far, not working so well; perhaps I need more due to soil conditions and have them spread too far apart. I have no experience with how any of them work against rats, etc though.
CalGuns Network (CGN) is different from CalGuns Foundation (CGF). Both need our support. I have gold name because I support CGN; plus, I send $10 every two weeks to CGF automatically via online BillPay as described here.

It depends on your group (family) size and your uses. One can use it in cooking, toothpaste, cleaning, and always to clean your battery

If I can get my wife down to taking fewer than ten pairs of shoes, I will then calculate my baking powders needs.
