    OC/LA SHOOTING

Is there any indoor ranges in the O.C.(proffered) L.A. area that allow AR-15's? I'm use to driving out to Hodge road in Barstow. But, I'm really tired of driving an hour or so just to go shoot my guns....

If you have a better or place in OC please let me know!!!

    Richie.

I tried calling there two days ago before I ended up at insight. They had a answering machine saying something about the rain killing the phone lines.

Correct me if I'm wrong...but I believe at On Target you have to take a "Class" on Sunday before they will allow you to shoot rifles at their facility...then once you've passed...you can shoot rifles there whenever you like. Can't just show up and shoot them.

Then go to the one in Oceanside - Iron Sights - that is my preference and where I go although On Target is just a few miles from me.

Just an FYI, the only reason I posted On Target is because it's the closer to Richie. I prefer going to Iron Sights - being a long time gun enthusiast I have had bad experience at On Target with the new owner / management - probably just me??

Sharpshooters in Torrance allows 12 gauge, .223, no .308

                Hope this helps you.

Prado ( in Chino ) allows .223 ammos at their 50 yard rifle range. I went there in December last year on a Wednesday morning with my AR and muzzleloader rifle and have the range all to myself. For 20 bucks all day for rifle and pistol range is a pretty good deal.
