We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Wow....good to see they got them back in stock. They have not had them in quite a while.

I was going to order some before, but decided instead to go the Scepter can route. The plus to me is the Scepters (being plastic) melt in a fire rather than explode....that and no chance of rust.

Other than that, these look great. I'd consider picking up a few...but geez...expensive!

I "store" in a sense gas in the cars that I don't drive regularly. That adds up to about 35+ untreated gallons. It gets rotated as I drive them so no Sta-bil or Pri-G. I have 5 gallons of treated gas on hand in a gas can for the lawn implements and the genny.

Guess I'll try the Pri-G stuff.

only 35 gallons? you sure thats enough?

different situation but comparable: i run my wvo for my car, and i am working on stocking up in case i run into supply issues. i have about 110gal right now, im planning on adding another 55 gal drum to my storage. plus i plan on keeping 30 gal in jerry cans on top of that.

35 gal of fuel will not last a long time if you really think about it.
SCALIA: WTF are you talking about? We can incorporate it under due process. I hate due process and I even think that.

Actually, that is not bad...even with shipping. Shipping might be better on a per-can basis if you are ordering multiple (which you should). The expensive part then becomes the spout (looks like they are selling them for about $35...and you are going to have a tough time filling a car without one).

Blitz "CARB compliant cans" that you can buy in this state (similar but with an "automatic shutoff" valve in case it gets knocked over) are more like $80/ea if you buy them in a local store.

The CARB regulations (thank you again Kalifornia) are what got Scepter to cut off civilian sale of their cans to the entire US (not only California). Now only military can get them.....(which is why the few people who still can somehow, sell them for $80~90/ea on ePay...when they retail for about $35~40).

That is part of the regimine....a little safer storage as well than cans in the garage.

Ugh, here comes the logic. Now I gotta double my storage of fuel... again...

plus think of it this way, if fuel prices go up, you have a cheap alternative. i dont know about gasoline because its a lot easier to have a problem (fire), but i know that with my vegetable oil, it just makes sense to have like at least a few months worth of driving stashed away without even getting into disaster scenarios...
