serrano campground big bear lake

anyone ever camp there before? Going for a one nighter and I want to fish at night, anyone know details about this campground...? thanks

We've camped there before. It's a pretty typical Forest Service campground. Campsites are nice enough but a little too close to each other for my taste. Obviously, the location right next to the lake is it's big selling point. We camped there in late season (November?) so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I think it can be pretty packed during the warmer months.
