    Popup trailer rules

I am interested in getting a popup, but I don't want to get stuck camping in parkinglots and with RVs. Does anyone know If state parks, federal land all have the same rules. It is it a case by case basis? Also any advise on places to go would be great.

I have a tent trailer, I am not sure what rules you are concerned with on Fed and State property, I have had no issue camping at State parks.

Here is a pop up forum I use, it's pretty informative. http://www.popupexplorer.com/forum/index.php

My dad and I have been camping in his starcraft tent trailer countless time just about everywhere a motorhome could not make it. Get one and you will be happy with it. I hope to get a teardrop myself.

The only place you will be discriminated against will be in private, high end camp grounds.

True, you'll feel like the help just arrived, around all the big bus motor homes with the satellite dishes, big screen TV's and the lot.

I laugh at them for overpaying and not really camping at all. Nowadays it is a motel room on wheels.

And my Castle on wheels only cost me $400.00. Whats nice about tent trailers are they are small enough to store in your garage, open up for a nice spacious living space, have the most needed conveniences, come configured in many different ways, and you can still find excellent deals without paying what they charge for a new one.
