Where to buy live pheasants in northern California

My friend owns a farm and he has been using it for raise some animals and shooting. He is thinking about getting some pheasants for shooting and hunting. Any pointers on where to buy live pheasants in northern California?

Get proper license for bird club.. Must have tags for private bird cklubs. Cannot just release and then hunt out of season..
