Dirt bike riding Kennedy Meadows Sept 16-21 2021

Been planning a trip here for years now. got cancelled last year and now looking to be cancelled this year too.
Looking to go somewhere in during these dates. Looking for a few days worth of riding. 4-5 riders.
I live in Redding, ca and my BIL lives in SanDiego area. We where trying for something in between us or within a days drive for either.

Any suggestions with most if not all of California closed?

No. Pacific SW Region. Look at the US Forest Service site in the region (Angeles National Forest, for example) and it should have all the info you need.
