I dunno, I've never been much for guns. I mean, sure, we have the usual gun by the door, another near the TV, one in the kitchen, and another in the bedroom...and several others laying around. For the most part though, we keep our home free of guns. We are peace loving folks.

Nice rig!! I spotted the Krylon camo job instantly. I like it. .1 cents a can is a SMOKING deal. I would have bought ALL they had.

Need to build two rifle clamp attachments, one on each side roll bars, and two for center cross bar, and butt holders on floor plates. I have a friend who made these and they work outstanding. Otherwise, sweet hunting rig.

Just my .02, placing the brackets there (in pic) makes for possible mount/dismount problems. If you place them on the roll bars, and use the roll bar on the drivers side to hold your rifle, and the driver uses the bracket on your side in a cross draw, no mount/dismount problems, and its very easy to grab. You can install two additional bracket in between seat, connected to roll bar also, but it your weapons will really stand out, in the middle like that. Having them attached to roll bars, on the sides, adds some degree of out of sight placement.

That is a sweet rig. What else do you plan to do to her?

Very nice. Have to look into getting a proper vehicle.

yes you can have the old wheel and button.
I was thinking to camoclad mine as well but want a digital marpat pattern and it is not out yet.
future upgrades will be in no particular order. lift kit, lockers, engine rebuild, mild cam 4barrell and intake manifold, bed liner inside, heatshield undercariage, teflon coated black wheels similar to style on there now,and the list goes on. Never really done with a jeep I dont think.

I have a 86 6cyl, I love that vehicle more than air! attach the rifle rack to the roll bar as suggested. I have one of the others and it make the passenger seat are seem very small. Not good for your passengers knees.
