Camping this weekend! Need a reccomendation

I'm looking to camp this weekend somewhere up in the.Sierra foothills off of 80 or 50. Anyone reccomend a nice place for just me and the dog? I prefer developed sites this time around. I just need some peace and quiet for the soul.

Check current state park regs. I think campfires are still a no-no.

Wish you the best Amishfarmer, be advised, Icehouse and Union Valley gets packed, along with all the other campgrounds in the area due to the wuhan flu. Everyone is out due to the lockdown (I know, lul wut). Place was packed last weekend.

Theres lots of campgrounds so drive through, if you find a stop leave the vehicle to claim then walk and get the note. People were getting into tussles over empty sites and some city folks removing the claim note on the post to the campsite.

Hopefully people arn't crowding it as much since I was last there in early Sept.

Come down to San Onofre- So Cal... San Mateo campground on edge of Camp Pendleton is allowing fires!!! Hike 1.5 miles to the beach.
Good luck where ever you go.

I found Bailey Cove up on Lake Shasta However I might change that. The website originally stated an order that expired on Oct 8 for a ban on campfires. Now it seems like there still is a ban. They kinda make it confusing.

This is fantastic. On the beach, Alberfeldy in a class, cigar, sand and waves...just what I needed
