I would think that may be early but the winters precipitation will dictate when camping is feasible.

Fishing will not be an option at June Lake mid April unfortunately.

Mid-April may be too early.
Silver Lake is the place to camp in the June Loop, I think the campground doesn't open until mid-May.

My father in law has always talked about fishing Twin Lakes by Bridgeport but I’ve never been.

VictorFranco, why do you like Silver Lake the most out of the loop?

I went to Twin Lakes in June and spent 2 days.
Camp grounds are kinda close and it looks like some people camp there for several months at a time.
Campsites in the back across the creek are more spread out.
Boat rentals are very resonable.
I caught a couple nice 12" browns from shore.
