Bug spray. It wasnt horrible, but they were there. Doris lake is not far away and is a good swiming hole too. I was there mid day so no fish rises. But Im told they are in there. Lots of fun back woods roads if your up for some 4x4.

I didnt see too much deer, but heard lots of yotes.

I am not familiar with that area. Is there public land to call those coyotes?

        Thanks!

That Area is Inyo National Forest, the BLM has tracts near lake Crowley which is closish to the hot spring / Mammoth valley.

            Was there in August.
Nice place. The drive in is a bit rough per se. it’s one lane and if a camper is coming at you. Driving backwards to find a pullover is a *****.

The store there is minimal. Bring everything
They do have beer. Pricy though

The hot springs themselves. Bit muddy but vary in temps. You have to look for most Several are easy to find and thus the most popular
Others Well look. There is a map that is not helpful for accurate positions.

Cabins. Basic. Kitchen. Basic and not complete.
Power goes off at 2300. On at 05-0600.
Cell. Att. Only. And fairly strong. Others. Sol
WiFi. Only at the store. And it’s at a 12 foot radius.
Password protected and changes daily. Ask at the store.

The bath house ? Hmmm. Tubs inside. Just hot. The outside spa which is hot.
            Doris lake easy hike.
Edison lake worth the drive up.
