Anyone been to Iron Lakes, CA

I recently heard of Iron Lake up East of Fresno. Has anyone been here before?
Trying to get some info before I explore up. I've heard that theres 4x4 trails and fishing. Sounds like a good combo!

Wow, it's been a while then,

I'm wondering if high-clearance 4x4 vehicles can make it all the way to the lake? I've read accounts of driving up to a trailhead and then hoofing it in.

It's been about 10+ years since I've been, but used to ride a XR 600 in there all the time, and had a buddy bring a basically stock Suzuki Samurai without problems. Very beautiful, but haven't done any fishing there.
