I've been looking around and I was wondering if anyone made a fold up shade for truck beds? So like the pop up shades people use for camping and stuff. But designed for a truck bed...it'd be nice for range days

Before I got my tonneau cover, I made a frame out of PVC pipe and used bungee cords to hold a tarp draped over the frame. The PVC pipe fits in the holes in the bed rail.

yeah but not a tent. Like an open sided shade that fits in the rails and drops down when your ready to roll. So like tonneau that can be lifted up for shade. Something that's a bit taller than the cab. You know for range days, tailgating stuff like that. Maybe I'll make one out of PVC. just have the pipes slide over each other and have holes to stick a pin through to hold it up.I"m just a PA native trying to understand CA laws
