I took the Boy Scouts out to Big Bear for some snow camping. Couldn't have asked for better conditions to introduce them to the winter. 20 degrees at night and 35 during the day. 4-7ft of snow on the ground, they had lots of fun!

Way to go dad! I used to love camping in the snow when I was younger; now that I've hit 60 I kind of like visiting the snow and staying in a motel.
There is something about waking up in the snow, starting a campfire, and enjoying a cup of coffee that brings out the best in a man.Comment
