Campmaid Dutch ovens

Has anyone used any Campmaid Dutch ovens? Or any of their products? Some of their stuff looks interesting. They have a lot if their stuff on sale right now, with an 8" & 10" set on sale for $49 + S&H.
How useful are the smaller sizes? As all I have used is a 12".

Are you talking Camp Maid or Camp Chef?

The Camp Chef castings can be pretty rough at times. The Camp Maid stuff seemed better but you can tell it is foreign made. Personally I would go Lodge for cast iron cookware as the casting is finer.

As fro other Camp Maid products I really like the stand and charcoal shelf for lack of a better term. Well thought out product.

Never tried Camp Maid, but have had good luck with Lodge! But even Lodge is a bit rough...... Cleaning burnt on cheese, eggs, etc in the field can still be a chore.

Amazon generally has good prices on Lodge. Some guys I know steer clear of foreign casting due to potential impurities. Not sure how valid a concern that is but it's worth consideration. I can't find much fault with factory Lodge overall. You can find deals at yard sales every so often for the oldies but goodies.
