Me and a friend are looking for somewhere decent to take our side by sides in camping.plan on doing a few day ride with the kids.would love a place with a lake or river they can play in.also being able to shoot.let me know if you guys have any ideas.where in sac area,Tahoe,Shasta?anywhere within 3 hours would be good thanks

Stumpy Meadows above Georgetown sounds like what you are looking for. Nice campground and you can ride the side by sides all over. There are lots of logging roads/forest roads and you can drive them up to Hell Hole res. if you want. Lake by the campground rivers and streams off of the logging roads.Comment
