Hey just to let you guys know a few of us are heading up to the Sierras on the weekend of the 25th for some light wheeling and camping. We're going to do Barney Riley Trail. Nice and easy trail with a really cool natural hot springs at the end. Got a lot of venison I'm going to be grilling up too. Anyone is welcome. Check out my thread on a different forum here for more details.... http://norcal-jeeps.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1014

Let me know if you live in or around the Northbay and we can convoy up there.

We usually go up 108 near Pinecrest from 5000-8000' elevation. Lots of forest service roads up there.

Awesome...thanks. Was actually just talking to someone about that area today. Heading there this weekend for a wedding.
        Thank you,

Jeep is fueled, cooler is full, venison backstraps are marinating, and the rifles are ready. Going to be a damn good weekend.

Last chance if anyone wants to join us tomorrow for the Barney Riley Trail...

That sounds awesome! Already have plans though, going out hog hunting.

If anyone's up for a drive, give the Mojave Road a try. Did it last year and hit up a little bit of Death Valley too. Hopefully another trip coming up this fall/winter.

If you make it out to the desert check out Fossil Fall's by Little Lake and the Trona Pinnacles sometime.
