Hiked it today. If you get a chance it is a great hike Nice trail, beautiful forest and meadows, and not many people. Sixteen miles to the top and back but very worth it.

That is a nice peak. Most of the early surveys in the area used initial points triangulated from that peak. It was also used to establish Baseline (not road or street, just Baseline). There is a nice monument to the Baseline at Yucaipa Regional Park.Benefactor Life Member, National Rifle Association
