    Water level at Cachuma Lake?

I was wondering if any CGers have been out to Cachuma Lake lately and could tell me what the water level currently looks like, unfortunately it's been a while since I've been able to get up that way.

I'm planning a trip to Solvang next month and was thinking of stopping by Cachuma just to share its beauty with my gf, she has never been there so I want her to see it.

The water level is catastrophically low. Somewhere around 25% capacity. I havent been in a while but a friend was there a couple months ago and said you wouldnt recognize the lake. It looks like a pond. The bays are mostly dry land and the boat launch is now a few hundred yards down from the shop. Really sad

I remember it being low like that in the late 80s. Pray for rain

On the plus side he said the campgrounds were almost empty so youll have the place to yourself

I knew the lake wouldn't be anywhere near capacity, I just wanted to know how dire it actually was.

I was at Casitas a couple weeks ago, the lake is around 46% cap. Still nice.
