    Rules for Wilderness Survival

This summer will see me spending a great amount of time in the Sierras camping and fishing. In doing some research on being prepared I cam across this and thought it would be good to post here at CalGuns.

Most of it is common sense but it never hurts to read it.

It never hurts to review the basics.
    Thanks

One aspect to a shelter, which I did not see mentioned on the link, is where you make a shelter is important. A ridge can have a lot of wind and the bottom of a gully can have cold air running down it like water, so part way down the side of a ridge can be best. Available resources make a difference as well.
