    Chinese bows!

Very proud of what quality can actually come out of China.

Got together with some friends to shoot our Chinese bows this past weekend.

Interesting bows--what are the draw weights?

      Cool bows!

Saw a family shooting similar looking bows yesterday except that they were made in Hungary.

The Han and Ming bows are 45# @ 32" and the big Qing pulls 60# @ 36"

My first "horse bow" came from Hungary.

What I like about these Chinese bows is that instead of just one solid piece of fiberglass wrapped in leather, they are actually a composite build minus horn.

American Gordon glass over layers of Chinese bamboo and a mulberry core.

Well hey, didn't the Mongolians use the recurve bows with great effect?

Hey OP, what was the cost of these bows and where did you get them? Any takedown versions?

The commonly sold "Mongol bow" with string bridges is actually a derivative of the Manchu bow. I suspect that calling a bow a "Mongolian bow" helps drive sales and the Manchu bow did in fact become the most commonly used bow in a China and Mongolia after the Qing conquest.

Google Cinnabar bow and you'll find his online store.
The bows are semi custom and will run you about 400-500 USD
              There is a takedown version
