    Adding blade thumbstuds..

    Did a search but didn't find direct results.

    Picked up my #551 SBK Griptillian yesterday, first modern EDC knife in many years for me - love the thumbstud and Axis lock.

    Now I'm looking to add through blade thumbstuds to my older Gerbers, that clamp on stuff looks a bit too cheesy for me.

    Advice? Experiences? Thanks.
    After watching WTC Bldg #7 being razed, and considering it's main occupants..

    I stumbled onto this note while checking advanced weapons..
    "911 = false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition. 47 floors came down in 6 1/2 seconds - not hit by a plane. Just one of hundreds of absurdities that occurred that day. Wake up".

      Going to be a challenge to drill holes into a tempered blade for any kind of thumb stud other than the clamp on kind. Good luck in not ruining the temper if you drill. Wet carbide bit may work, Good luck.

                  I'm mainly looking for details on drilling the blades, I'm searching that now.

                  Knives are well out of warranty so that is not a concern.
