    Bear and Son fix blade

hey guys, I'm kind of a knife collector, sometimes I think its more of a bad habit then collector. I went on an Anza craze a few years back (6-7) and bought all the NOS vintage Anza's I could afford on ebay. During this craze I bought a drop point Bear and Son with a Rose wood handle. I'd say its about 8" total with a nice sheath.

Of all the decent fix blade knifes that I have I keep on finding myself carrying this one over all the others. I'd like to hear from people who have any knowledge of this company and the knives they make.

Its just such a solid well built knife, I'm just shocked I don't read\hear anything about them.

FWIW, don't ever do this, buying knives is a bad bad habit to get in and will only bring you head aches in the end trying to decide which one to strap on the belt.

Bear and Son have been around for a few years. Their claim to fame when they started out was making their own in house Damascus and using stag for handles on the folders and fixed blades. They are out of Jacksonville,Alabama. If you are out that way 11/21-23/14 they are having a once a year factory sale. They will have about 25,000 knives. Some at about 75% off .
Over 20 yrs. ago I had Charlie Davis(Anza Knives owner at the time) make me a 6 piece steak knife set with wooden block.Use them on special occasions only. Great conversation pieces.

            35 is a steal if it's quality.

Woo that's a great lookin blade, I love that stag! I'm looking towards a benchmade northfork right now but don't know if I can justify the 120-140 price tag. Coming to this knife/tool forum is killing my firearm budget!

The state of California did that to me Jan 1 of this year. Its been 30 years since I bought a handgun, I might see a Glock 30 or Springfield 1911 in my future..
