    Getting a CA legal Microtech

    Hey everyone,

I usually order from bladehq, but I was bummed (and noted the irony) when on checkout it said that even though they have CA legal OTF knives, they can't ship them across state borders.

Is there any store within CA that sells the state legal Microtech OTFs?

I bought a UTX-70 from Triple Aught Design in SF. I don't know if they still sell them though. It is a fantastic knife.

I finally got around to calling them up, and they said they don't sell any Microtech products

Thanks for the heads up though!

A CA legal OTF has to be under two inches right?

I want a microtech as much as OP but a 150 dollar 2" knife may be where I have to draw the line with myself.

Hey everyone, I got a hold of one at Ross Cutlery (in downtown LA, of all places).

I'm with you that's way too much for such a small knife.

I can't wait until you tell the doctor to use a 50 cent scalpel if you have to have surgery. There's obviously no reason to spend much more than that on such a small blade. Right?

I prefer a small high quality blade to a big cheap blade.

Lol yea that's a different story but I am pretty cheap so I just may . I would just rather a have a larger high quality blade for the money.

I definitely agree with the whole knife/price ratio thing, but if you're in a "the ends justify the means" mood, then this is the only Microtech blade you can carry around!
