    Custom Blade

Does anyone know where I can get a custom blade produced?
I have a rather specific design in mind; and though the design itself is not all that complicated, I can't find a single knife that's of the specs I'm looking for.

All I need is a bare blade - no fixin's, but I need it made to a specific shape.

Out of curiosity, what are the specific specs that you're looking for?
There are an awful lot of blades out there, and even a bare bones custom is gonna cost a good penny.

I'm a bit of a knife nut, have been for a long time, and have even made my own customs. let me know what you're looking for and I may be able to point you in the right direction.

Just for the heck of it, here is one of the knives I've made.

What I'm going for is essentially a straight blade, single edged, karambit.
I've seen "skinners" that look a bit like what I'm going for but the finger loop is never in the right place to be held with the index finger.

It would be like the middle one of these, except with ergonomic changes.

Denis Cook occasionally works the Dawson Knives booth at the various SoCal XRoads of the West gun shows. He made me a custom knife that remain my favorite to this day. Turnaround was no longer than a month, as I recall. k00l guy to work with.

Cutters knife and tool has one you might like, but it might be hard to track down: https://www.google.com/search?q=cutt...83Z6eYferwM%3A

                Or the Emerson Commander Kbit:https://www.google.com/search?q=emer...VUjVfUlzE5M%3A

+1 on Dennis's blades. I have a large collection of his, Lynn's, Barry's and John Roy's blades. Easy guy to work with and reasonable priceing.
