    Swiss army knives?

I’m thinking about getting a Swiss Army knife, but I’m not sure which model to go for. There are so many swiss army knives options, and I want something that’s versatile but not too bulky. What’s the best one for everyday carry?
Also, are there any specific models that are better quality or more durable than others? If anyone has experience with Swiss Army knives, I’d love to hear your thoughts on which ones are the most useful and worth investing in.
    Thanks

Depends on what you want it for, but if you don't have one - you need one (everyone does)! I've had Victorinox SAKs for many decades; the two I find most functional (but not loaded with superfluous do-dads that I'll NEVER need/use) are the Spartan and the Recruit.

I have at least a dozen different ones going back to the 70’s when I got my first at 10 years old.

Another useful one for EDC is the Victorinox Tinker
it’s just like the Spartan but instead of the corkscrew it has a Phillips head screw driver.

i seem to always run into the explorer model i guess it was because of macgyver i have 2 red ones and a black one

the scissors magnifying glass and phillips are handy

but i prefer a locking blade

Look at this flow chart (for the large knives) and see what tools you want. More tools = more thickness. a-diagram-of-all-the-different-91mm-swiss-army-knife-models-v0-igu4rj9xynca1.webp
