I noticed there is an archery range in Delaveaga park here in Santa Cruz. Has anyone ever been? Do you just show up and shoot or need a membership?

Archery Range in Santa Cruz

I just saw this old post, which went unanswered. I thought I would post a response just for reference.
The range at DeLaveaga is run and maintained by the Santa Cruz Archers club: https://santacruzarchers.com/
I am not a member, but I have shot there many times. If you are a member you can (with a hefty deposit) get a gate key so you can drive right to the range. Otherwise you will have to walk in (which you are welcome to do). Since it is on city-owned property, anyone can use the range any time there is no club event going on. On the weekends there are times when the gates are open and anyone can drive in. It is a very fine range with a practice/warmup area, indoor range (members only, I think), and a 28-target field course. The field course is very challenging and fun.
