According to the knife laws in Kentucky, all sorts of knives are legal to carry open and own even though they are considered as deadly/dangerous weapons. All kind of pocket knives are legal. Ballistic knives are legal. Bowie knives are legal. Balisong and butterfly knives are legal. Switchblades and other automatic knives are legal.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. My invitation to bow hunt your property must have gotten lost in the mail bud.

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.
The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.
